Meander Mindset
Meander Mindset: Bayou Teche was a collaboration with environmental sculptor Marla Kristicevich.
Together, we traveled the length of South Louisiana's longest bayou collecting organic material
and making photographs, textural rubbings, and sculptures along the waterway. These collected
materials and works created a visual narrative of our journey which culminated in three gallery exhibitions
and a self-published book. Through this work we hope to encourage the viewer to reevaluate their
connection to the natural world, and to take the time to observe and appreciate their surroundings.
